Eilif Serck-Hanssen
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Eilif Serck-Hanssen is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Laureate Education, Inc. Mr. Serck-Hanssen previously was chief financial officer and president of international operations at XOJET, where he was responsible for finance, international operations, corporate development, procurement, legal and regulatory affairs and information technology. Prior to joining XOJET, Mr. Serck-Hanssen served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Eos Airlines, Inc., the first airline dedicated exclusively to premium long-haul business travel.
In addition, Mr. Serck-Hanssen was senior vice president finance and treasurer at US Airways, where he was responsible for all capital markets activities, corporate finance, treasury, aircraft finance, fleet planning, balance sheet restructuring, and fuel operations and hedging. Prior to joining US Airways, he served in various finance positions at Northwest Airlines and as chief financial officer at PepsiCo Vietnam.
Mr. Serck-Hanssen earned his M.B.A in finance at the University of Chicago, a B.A. in economics and finance from the University of Kent at Canterbury (United Kingdom), and a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of Bergen (Norway). |
